  • A clear sense of progress and direction

Programmes Offered:

  • Provides full coverage of:

    • Key Stage 1, 2, and 3 curriculum

    • SATs preparation

    • CAT exam preparation

    • Homework support and organisation

(These programmes can be achieved alongside or independent of 11+ preparation)

    My approach focuses on:

    • Strengthening foundations before accelerating

    • Closing gaps methodically and calmly

    • Making progress visible and measurable

    • Developing effective learning habits

  • Many of my students have benefitted from constant support, helping recover them to a solid base level, restoring their confidence and enjoyment in learning again.

With the right structure in place, I often see:

    • Confidence returning gradually

    • Engagement improving

    • Enjoyment in learning re-emerging

    • A growing sense of academic independence

  • I provide additional support for:

    • Students with ADHD, ADD, ASD & Autism diagnoses. These diagnoses do not have to get in the way of learning. They help inform understanding but they don’t define the learner. Rather than teaching to labels, I:

      • Take time to understand the individual

      • Identify what supports their learning best

      • Create a carefully considered, individualised plan

    • Students requiring greater focus and organisational skills

    • Students lacking in confidence, motivation and academic self-belief

  • Through dedicated tutorship, I:

    • Build a trusting, stable relationship

    • Understand the student’s individual learning profile

    • Adjust the pace and approach to learning as confidence grows

    • Provide continuity, reassurance, and direction

    • Help build a sense of academic independence

  • "My son was struggling with Maths and had very low self esteem. Dween was very patient, consistently pleasant, dedicated and helped build up his confidence, Ethan became more confident in Maths and did very well in his final exam, receiving a place in my priority school. He is now enjoying Maths all thanks to Dween."
